Senior Full Stack Engineer architecting B2B platform features across Laravel/PHP backend and Nuxt/Vue frontend, integrating AI tools to accelerate development velocity.
ScholarshipOwl is the largest scholarship marketplace in the US, using AI to connect 14 million students who are looking for scholarships with companies that are looking for students. Our mission is to make education financing more accessible and engaging, while giving brands a way to connect with the next generation.
Weâre powered by AI technology that simplifies scholarship discovery, streamlines the application process, and delivers measurable results for both students and partners. Whether itâs helping students secure funding or enabling brands to run impactful campaigns, weâre reshaping how education is funded â and discovered.
Weâre looking for a highly skilled and innovative Senior Full-Stack Engineer to architect high-performance web applications and accelerate our development velocity across our B2B platform. Youâll play a pivotal role in bridging modern Nuxt 3â4 frontend applicationsâincluding customer management portals and embeddable widget enginesâwith a robust Laravel and Doctrine ORM backend API, delivering seamless experiences that connect millions of students to funding opportunities.
You will own the technical implementation of core products across our entire stack, working with PHP 8.2+, Laravel, MySQL, and Vue 3 / Nuxt 3â4. Beyond traditional engineering, this role champions efficiency: you will deeply integrate AI-native workflows (using tools like Cursor and Google Gemini) to double shipping velocity, automate test coverage, and build intelligent LLM-driven platform features. If you are passionate about full-stack architecture, widget infrastructure, and leveraging AI to build smarter and faster, this role is for you.
Full Lifecycle Development: Architect, build, and ship end-to-end B2B features across the stack- from Laravel/Doctrine JSON:API endpoints to reactive Nuxt 3â4 Vue components and server routes.
Embed & Analytics Engine: Develop and optimize high-performance embedded widget systems, Nitro server engine logic, iframe cross-origin messaging, client event-tracking SDKs, and data ingestion pipelines.
API & Database Architecture: Design robust relational database schemas (MySQL), Doctrine entity mappings, clean migrations, performant RESTful/JSON:API contracts, and Redis caching layers.
AI-Native Acceleration: Integrate AI coding tools (Cursor, Gemini) into daily development for rapid feature prototyping, code refactoring, test generation, and building LLM-driven product features (e.g., automated applicant evaluation).
Third-Party Integrations\*:\* Integrate and maintain core third-party services and APIs, including CRM platforms, error tracking systems, payment gateways, and cloud data services
Automated Testing & Quality: Establish comprehensive automated test coverage (PHPUnit for backend, Playwright and Vitest for E2E/components) integrated into CI/CD pipelines to guarantee zero regressions.
Mentorship & Code Reviews: Conduct thorough, constructive code reviews and collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and leadership to elevate team standards.
Experience: 4+ years of professional full-stack web development experience, with at least 1+ year actively incorporating AI coding assistants into daily engineering workflows.
Backend Expertise (PHP & Laravel): Strong commercial experience with PHP 8+ and Laravel (clean service architecture, queues/jobs, middleware, and OAuth2/Passport authentication).
Frontend Mastery (Vue 3 & Nuxt 3â4): Deep proficiency in modern Vue 3 (Composition API), Nuxt 3 or Nuxt 4, TypeScript, Pinia state management, and Tailwind CSS.
Database & ORM Skills: Strong relational database modeling and query optimization in MySQL, along with solid experience using ORMs (Doctrine ORM / DBAL or deep Eloquent experience with the ability to adapt to Doctrine quickly).
API Design & Caching: Deep understanding of RESTful / JSON:API standards, server-side validation error mapping, request formatting, and Redis performance caching.
AI-Native Workflow: Active daily use of AI coding tools (Cursor, Gemini) as a force multiplier for coding, debugging, and test creation.
Automated Testing: Hands-on experience writing backend test suites (PHPUnit) and frontend/E2E tests (Playwright, Vitest, or Cypress).
DevOps & Tooling: Solid working knowledge of Git, CI/CD release pipelines, Docker containerization, and Linux/container environments.
Async Communication & Autonomy: Exceptional written technical communication skills for authoring PRs, architectural design docs, and issue tracking; high autonomy to navigate multi-service codebases, solve complex blockers independently, and drive initiatives.
Education & Background: Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical software engineering experience.
Certifications\*:\* Advanced degree or formal certifications in Cloud Architecture, Modern Software Engineering, or AI Engineering.
Doctrine ORM: Direct production experience with Doctrine ORM / DBAL in Laravel environments.
Widget & SDK Systems: Experience developing embeddable web widgets, lightweight JavaScript tracking SDKs, iframe cross-origin communication, or browser fingerprinting.
Modern Tooling: Experience with Nitro server engines, Bun runtime, PrimeVue components, or streaming data into data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery).
Payment Gateways: Integration experience with payment processors (Stripe/Braintree) and B2B subscription billing lifecycles.
Gemini LLM Integration: Practical experience integrating Google Gemini models (prompt engineering, structured JSON outputs, Gemini API / SDKs).
Cloud Infrastructure (GCP): Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Kubernetes, Cloud Build).
### Bonus Skills (The âX-Factorâ)
Technical Leadership: Prior experience in a Tech Lead or Team Lead capacityâdriving architectural decisions, coordinating delivery, and unblocking team members.
Domain Knowledge: Background in high-growth B2B SaaS platforms, grant/applicant management systems, EdTech, recruitment/ATS tools, or conversion tracking ecosystems.

This person will build and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines across Dagster (or Airflow), dbt, and Snowflake, with supporting work in Python, Airbyte, and AWS. The role combines building new pipelines and data models with providing real coverage on critical paths â especially the daily Postgres â Snowflake â dbt flow and third-party API loads â all shipped through reviewed pull requests rather than one-off scripts.
Weâre looking for a practitioner who thinks natively in dimensions, facts, and slowly changing dimensions â someone who knows when to use a full refresh versus an incremental load and how that choice affects idempotency and backfills. This person writes clear, reviewable PRs and gives equally thoughtful reviews, with attention to scoped diffs, sensible tests, and failure modes. Theyâre comfortable in complex Python data flows and have enough AWS literacy to reason about task roles, buckets, and cross-account access without needing to own all of platform engineering.

Deepgram is the leading platform underpinning the emerging trillion-dollar Voice AI economy, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and building production-grade voice agents at scale. More than 200,000 developers and 1,300+ organizations build voice offerings that are âPowered by Deepgramâ, including Twilio, Cloudflare, Sierra, Decagon, Vapi, Daily, Cresta, Granola, and Jack in the Box. Deepgramâs voice-native foundation models are accessed through cloud APIs or as self-hosted and on-premises software, with unmatched accuracy, low latency, and cost efficiency. Backed by a recent Series C led by leading global investors and strategic partners, Deepgram has processed over 50,000 years of audio and transcribed more than 1 trillion words. There is no organization in the world that understands voice better than Deepgram.
At Deepgram, we expect an AI-first mindsetâAI use and comfort arenât optional, theyâre core to how we operate, innovate, and measure performance.
Every team member who works at Deepgram is expected to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, and even build your own into your everyday work. We measure how effectively AI is applied to deliver results, and consistent, creative use of the latest AI capabilities is key to success here. Candidates should be comfortable adopting new models and modes quickly, integrating AI into their workflows, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what these technologies can do.
Additionally, we move at the pace of AI. Change is rapid, and you can expect your day-to-day work to evolve just as quickly. This may not be the right role if youâre not excited to experiment, adapt, think on your feet, and learn constantly, or if youâre seeking something highly prescriptive with a traditional 9-to-5.
Deepgram is looking for a Software Test Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and exploratory test suites across our products, models, APIs, and data platforms. You enjoy breaking systems, probing edge cases, testing real-world and adversarial inputs, and automating repeatable validation so regressions are caught quickly.

Build testing infrastructure, including test harnesses, reusable scripts, test-data tooling, result-aggregation pipelines, dashboards, and visualizations that make quality signals easy to understand and act on.
Integrate automated tests, quality checks, canaries, and release validation into CI/CD so regressions are detected continuously rather than through manual testing alone.
Partner with Engineering, Product, Research, Data, Infrastructure, and DevOps to understand system behavior, dependencies, variations, performance limits, and deployment risks, and to establish appropriate test coverage.
Test data ingestion, processing, annotation, and quality-control workflows, validating data integrity, completeness, representativeness, deduplication, leakage, and downstream readiness.
Execute staging and production validation, load and reliability testing, cross-browser and customer-workflow testing, and user acceptance testing in partnership with internal stakeholders and customer QA teams.
Maintain and improve the test-case repository, automation coverage, test documentation, and release-readiness reporting so teams have a clear view of what was tested, what passed, and what remains risky.
Write precise, actionable bug reports with reproducible steps, inputs, parameters, expected and actual results, logs or artifacts, and clear severity; participate in triage and escalate issues when necessary.
Help raise the bar through code reviews, test-design reviews, technical discussions, and strong engineering, automation, and QA practices.
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Applied Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional software or QA engineering experience, with a track record of shipping test infrastructure or evaluation systems (senior candidates with significantly deeper experience welcome).
Solid backend/scripting experience in a language such as Python, Rust, Go, or similar.

Experience with voice, audio, speech recognition, or real-time systems, and familiarity with metrics such as WER, MOS, latency, and time-to-first-byte.
Experience building or improving test, evaluation, benchmarking, or ML infrastructure used by multiple teams or external users.
A strong appreciation for test and evaluation quality, including correctness, reproducibility, determinism, and consistency across environments.
Experience building test tooling for React Native, mobile applications, or other cross-platform environments that extends validation beyond the desktop.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containers, ephemeral test environments, CI/CD systems, and monitoring tools such as Grafana, canaries, and anomaly detection.
Experience serving as a technical bridge across teams or platformsâincluding product, QA, evaluation, training, inference, data, or agent frameworksâwith the communication skills to build alignment and influence decisions.
Prior involvement in open-source projects through contributions, reviews, maintenance, or community engagement.
Experience with voice, audio, speech recognition, or real-time systems, and familiarity with metrics like WER, MOS, or latency/TTFB.
Prior involvement in open-source projects, through contributions, reviews, maintenance, or community engagement.
