  • Provide technical leadership on architecture and tooling decisions, and document them so the whole team can operate what you build.
  • Stand up and support the secure infrastructure underneath PayJunction’s analytics and BI stack.

Qualifications

Project Management Associate Director, Technical Product & Program Manager at United States Department of Defense

Manages day-to-day sprint execution and workflow for an AI-enablement engineering program, translating stakeholder requirements into technical sprints and unblocking development queues.

Senior Hybrid Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

WHY DEPT®?

We are a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, we create what is next by pioneering ideas, acting fast, and moving further because standing still just is not in our DNA.

We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter.

At DEPT®, you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build.

The Role

DEPT® is seeking a hybrid Technical Product & Program Manager (TPM) to drive the day-to-day execution of a high-velocity AI-enablement engineering partnership program for a premier global enterprise client. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of product strategy and agile delivery, bridging the gap between localized business stakeholders and a dedicated team of embedded engineers.

You will act as the shared strategic lead across two distinct enterprise business units, directly managing the project workflow for a pod of Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE). Partnering closely with the overarching Group Director, Program Management and the Senior Engineering Lead, you will translate raw marketer ideation and low-code prototypes into strict technical sprints, unblock development queues, and actively manage the day-to-day workflow within the client’s proprietary task and issue-tracking ecosystems.

What you’ll do

Product translation & requirements gathering

  • Translate the vision: Partner directly with marketing and business stakeholders to evaluate their custom AI concepts and “vibe-coded” prototypes. Translate these functional mockups into rigorous, actionable technical requirements and user stories for your engineering pod.
  • Help define the MVP: Act as the product owner for your specific business units, helping stakeholders prioritize features, define and document business logic, and help determine what is required for a rapid prototype versus a full production build.

Agile execution & workflow management

  • Run your program engine: Own the day-to-day sprint management and task execution for your dedicated pod of embedded engineers.
  • Master the internal ecosystem: Actively manage and maintain project momentum within the client’s complex, proprietary enterprise task-flow and bug-tracking systems. You will ensure every ticket is properly routed, dependencies are logged, and code-review queues are unblocked.
  • Clear the path: Proactively identify and help resolve technical dependencies - such as complex infrastructure permissions, environment setups, and data access approvals - before they slow down engineering velocity.

Cross-pollination & delivery

  • Bridge the business units: Serve as a shared resource across two distinct enterprise verticals. You will build deep subject matter expertise in both areas and proactively cross-pollinate technical learnings, ensuring that a breakthrough in one unit is leveraged by the other.
  • Ensure SLA compliance: Track and enforce service level agreements (SLAs) for different technical tracks, ensuring your engineering pod delivers rapid prototypes and safe testing environments on time and on budget.
  • Maintain architectural alignment: Work closely with the central technical governance team to ensure all localized builds meet strict enterprise architecture, data privacy, and security standards.

What you’ll bring

  • Hybrid expertise: 5+ years of experience acting as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Agile Scrum Master - ideally blending the strategic “why” of product management with the executional “how” of program delivery.
  • System navigation: Deep experience operating within complex, proprietary enterprise ticketing, task, and bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or proprietary big-tech internal equivalents).
  • Technical fluency: A strong understanding of modern web application architecture, API integrations, cloud environments, and emerging AI/LLM capabilities. You do not need to write code, but you must be able to hold your own in deep technical architectural discussions with senior engineers.
  • Cross-functional agility: Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple distinct business units simultaneously, seamlessly context-switching between different stakeholder needs.
  • Unblocker and helper mentality: A relentless, proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks - whether they are bureaucratic approval queues or technical dependencies - and actively clearing the path for your developers.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

We are a collaborative, open-door, best-idea-wins environment that fosters personal and company growth and has fun doing it. Here is a snapshot of our  benefits package:

  • Healthcare, Dental, and Vision coverage
  • 401k plan, plus matching
  • PTO
  • Paid Company Holidays
  • Parental Leave

WE SUPPORT YOU BEING YOU:

DEPT® is an equal opportunity employer (EOE). We believe our work is its best when our people feel safe and free to be themselves. Engineer Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Cynch AI

Senior full-stack engineer (backend-focused) builds production AI-assisted tax software systems including execution engines, data pipelines, and platform infrastructure.

Senior Hybrid Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Cynch AI is a Series A company that has grown revenue 4x in the past year. We build neuro‑symbolic AI applications for our accounting firm, Aardvark Tax Advisors, so our tax professionals can focus on the work and decisions that matter most. We are growing both organically and through strategic acquisitions, with a mix of remote and onsite employees and offices in San Francisco, the South Bay, and the East Bay.

We are looking for a senior software engineer who has fully embraced AI tooling and wants to stay at the forefront of how modern engineering teams move faster, build higher‑quality software, and solve more ambitious problems. This is a full stack role with a backend bias: you’ll work across the stack, but the hardest problems are in the data model, execution engines, and reliability—not just the UI or API surface.

The kind of work you may own here includes building execution engines for AI‑assisted tax workflows, document‑processing pipelines, data models for complex domain logic, systems for tracing and auditing automated decisions, integrations with tax/accounting platforms, and internal platforms that allow a small operations team to handle substantially more customer volume. You do not need prior tax or accounting experience, but you should have experience building production software where correctness, performance, and reliability really mattered.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with founders, product, AI, operations and domain experts as you fully own substantial product and platform work from problem definition through production rollout.
  • Build backend systems that can handle real production complexity: clear APIs, well‑modeled data, reliable execution, useful observability, and maintainable code.
  • Turn messy operational workflows into clean software abstractions, internal tools, automations, and customer‑facing features.
  • Continuously help the team discover where AI meaningfully improves software quality and velocity, and where it does not.
  • Improve the engineering system itself: better tools, better patterns, better deployment practices, better observability, fewer repeated mistakes, and less accumulated technical debt.
  • Mentor other engineers by raising the quality of design discussions, implementation choices, reviews, and production ownership.

How We Use AI

We are all‑in on AI‑assisted development, but with high standards for rigor. Your default process should integrate AI tools into your daily engineering workflows to continuously improve velocity and quality.

Engineers who thrive here use AI to explore designs, generate and test implementations, debug unfamiliar code, refactor safely, improve observability, and accelerate learning—while maintaining high standards for correctness, maintainability, and production quality. We are not looking for people who simply generate code and hope it works; we are looking for engineers who use AI to move faster because they already have the technical judgment to evaluate, constrain, test, and improve what it produces.

Technologies We Use

You do not need to know every technology we use, but you should be excited to work with a similar stack and learn quickly where needed.

  • TypeScript, Python, Julia, Java, Go, Datalog
  • Knowledge graphs, ontologies, neuro‑symbolic AI
  • AWS EC2, ECS, RDS (postgres), Lambda, S3, Bedrock

Strong candidates often come from backgrounds such as data platforms, developer tools, workflow automation, compilers/languages, ML infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS platforms (fintech, tax/accounting software, healthtech) where backend systems must be correct, reliable, and scalable.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Deep backend expertise and the ability to work across the stack, including frontend product experiences when needed.
  • Has been directly responsible for a production system where correctness, performance, reliability, or scale created meaningful engineering complexity.
  • Has designed data models, execution paths, background jobs, queues, retries, observability, and operational workflows for systems that had to keep working under real production load and real failure modes.
  • Experience building systems where the core challenge was technical depth: workflow execution, rule evaluation, document processing, search/indexing, data pipelines, distributed jobs, domain‑specific language implementation, or correctness‑sensitive automation.
  • Experience working in an early‑stage environment where requirements are incomplete, priorities shift, and ownership is broad.
  • Strong product judgment: you ship code that actually solves the problem.
  • You have operated at a level where you were trusted to own ambiguous, technically complex systems end‑to‑end, make architecture decisions, debug production issues, and raise the engineering bar for others.
  • You can lead projects, take feedback, engage in thoughtful discussion, and get the work done.

We are looking for someone whose recent work goes beyond marketing sites, simple CRUD applications, prompt wrappers, prototypes, or frontend‑only product surfaces. The core of this role is building the underlying systems—data models, execution engines, observability, and controls—that make AI‑assisted workflows reliable, auditable, and useful in production, not just building UI around an LLM API.

How to Apply

As part of your application, please include a brief description (4–8 sentences) of the most technically complex production system you have built or owned. We are especially interested in the data model, algorithms, scale, reliability constraints, failure modes, and what you personally owned. Specific, concrete answers are much more useful than polished summaries; a little messy is much better than grand, generic language.

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD, 401k (with match)

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid: San Francisco
  • Open to Remote for Exceptional Candidates.
  • California base salary range: $190,000–$240,000

Our Product team sits at the heart of this mission. We build and evolve a data-driven SaaS platform that helps global enterprises market smarter. By bridging customer needs, business goals, and technical innovation, we break down silos, foster collaboration, and use insights to guide smart, impactful decisions.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, data-driven Senior Product Manager to shape the future of Emplifi’s Data Insights capabilities — a core product area that enables brands to understand conversations, uncover emerging topics, and act on market signals that matter most.

This is about building intelligence that helps brands understand what people care about, how perceptions evolve, and where opportunities arise across digital channels. In today’s world, tracking discourse, sentiment, and context across digital sources gives brands a competitive edge. Organizations that move fast to uncover trends, surface risks, and respond to emergent feedback win. You’ll lead a product at the intersection of data, AI, and strategy helping the world’s leading brands stay in tune with conversations, perceptions, and signals that shape their markets.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about turning complex, unstructured data into clear insight and action

  • Can translate business challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions powered by AI and analytics
  • Thrives in a space where technology, storytelling, and customer empathy meet

What You’ll Do Here

  • Translate ideas into execution - write clear requirements, work with design and engineering, and iterate fast to deliver impactful, high-quality solutions
  • Be a market expert - understand the competitive landscape and adjacent categories, monitor trends in ecommerce and AI, and translate them into product strategy
  • Manage data partnerships and integrations- oversee connections with third-party data providers and APIs, ensuring consistent, reliable data access, evaluate vendor performance, react quickly to API or data schema changes, and balance product impact against integration costs
  • Partner cross-functionally - collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Leadership to position the product for success across the customer lifecycle
  • Measure what matters - define success metrics, analyze outcomes, and refine based on learnings to ensure continuous improvement and customer value

What You’ll Bring to Us

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in B2B SaaS
  • Track record of product impact – You’ve successfully led products through key stages of their lifecycle, whether taking over complex existing solutions or driving new launches, and can demonstrate how you improved outcomes and measured results
  • Deep familiarity with AI in practice — you actively use AI tools to enhance your workflow and have experience defining, delivering, and iterating on AI-powered features that create tangible value for users
  • High autonomy & maturity – You’re ready to own a product stream within your first 90 days, defining strategy, uncovering new problems, and driving delivery without hand-holding
  • Global mindset – Comfortable collaborating with colleagues and customers across time zones and cultures
  • Agile mindset – Experienced in iterative releases, and data-driven optimisation
  • Technical fluency & AI awareness – You can talk architecture with engineers, understand how complex distributed systems fit together, and spot opportunities to apply the latest AI/ML advances to solve customer problems

  • Background in social media, audience research, or digital strategy
  • Passion for empowering organizations to make smarter, faster, data-driven decisions

Operator Staff Simulation Data Modeler at Onebrief

Directs AI agents to research and build military simulation entities, manages data catalog accuracy, and establishes standards for a proprietary game engine.

Senior Hybrid Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Consequential Work. Dedicated People.

About Onebrief

Onebrief builds collaboration and AI-powered workflow software for military planning and operational coordination.

Military planning is complex by nature, requiring teams to coordinate information, people, and decisions across systems and locations. Onebrief brings planning, collaboration, simulation, and AI into one connected environment, helping teams test strategies, adapt to changing conditions, and make decisions with greater clarity when the stakes are real.

We are a distributed team of builders from military, operational, and technology backgrounds who care deeply about improving how important work gets done. Some team members work remotely, while others work directly alongside customers in operational environments around the world.

Founded in 2019, Onebrief is backed by leading investors including General Catalyst, Battery Ventures, Insight Partners, Sapphire Ventures, and Human Capital. Valued at more than $2 billion, we continue to invest in product innovation, AI capabilities, and team growth.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

As a Staff Simulation Data Modeler at Onebrief, you own the ground truth that AtomEngine’s entire simulation stands on.

AtomEngine is our proprietary, cloud-based game engine that makes the world playable to solve real-world military problems — and every scenario it runs is only as credible as the entities inside it. You’ll build and defend that credibility: directing AI agents to research and construct entities at scale, codifying the standards and formulas that make and keep the catalog accurate, and stress-testing your own assumptions in competitive wargames before a customer ever finds the gap.

As a Simulation Data Modeler you own the AtomEngine entity catalog end to end — not just the entities themselves, but the sources, the standards, parametric formulas, tooling, and test coverage that make them credible. You’ll direct AI agents to do the bulk of first-pass research, data entry, and testing at scale, while you focus on the judgment calls: what “right” looks like, where the catalog is weakest, and how to prove it’s correct. You’ll partner closely with Customer Relations to prioritize what gets built next, with Engineering to automate testing, and with other Content Creators in competitive wargames designed to break your own assumptions before a customer does.

Key Responsibilities

Catalog strategy & prioritization

  • Lead catalog strategy across multiple catalog segments. Build and maintain a structured catalog of all entities to be created across all service branches, nations, and eras — tracking completion, freshness, and data confidence for each segment.

  • Partner with Customer Relations to translate customer and field feedback into a prioritized roadmap for which catalog segments matter most right now.

Standards & tradecraft

  • Research the sources and codify the governing principles that any agent (human or AI) must follow when building entities.

  • Research and adopt or develop defensible formulas for weapon effects, sensor effects, fuel burn, survivability, and other performance models; make calls on when to adapt existing precedent versus build an original model from scratch; defend those models directly to customers and SMEs. Partner with Engineering on implementation.

  • Create & maintain a trusted network of subject matter experts you can pull in to ground the toughest modeling calls in real-world judgment.

Agent-directed production

  • Use modern agentic AI workflows as your primary force multiplier: design prompts, review loops, and guardrails that other analysts and their agents adopt to handle first-draft research, data entry, and documentation at scale, while you supervise for accuracy and catch what they miss.

  • Envision and define requirements for tools that accelerate the team’s workflow further, and partner with Engineering to help build them.

Verification, validation & accreditation (VV&A)

  • Lead the ongoing VV&A across multiple catalog segments: is it accurate, is it tested, and can you prove it.

  • Direct which automated test batteries get built and why, partnering with Engineering to design and implement automated tests that run continuously against the content catalog, catching regressions and inconsistencies before they reach customers.

  • Organize and run competitive wargames against other Simulation Content Creators and Customer Relations to stress-test your own entities and assumptions, using the results to validate or correct parametric data.

  • Continually interrogate the catalog and drive its ongoing improvement.

Knowledge & documentation

  • Lead documentation standards across the team, and author internal and external-facing knowledge articles that defensibly explain the model’s logic and sourcing to “show your work” so customers and internal teams trust the numbers.

  • Train and mentor other analysts on the tradecraft, rubrics, and VV&A methods you’ve established.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the judgment to make sound assumptions when source data is incomplete or conflicted.

  • Demonstrated ability to direct AI agents productively, writing clear instructions, structuring review checkpoints, and catching agent errors, rather than doing all research and data entry by hand.

  • Comfort with quantitative modeling: you can reason about and sanity-check formulas for things like weapon effects, fuel consumption, or survivability, even if you’re not writing production code yourself.

  • Strong organizational skills: you can build and maintain a catalog/tracking system spanning hundreds of items without losing the thread on what’s fresh, what’s stale, and what’s next.

  • Concise, effective written and verbal communication — you’ll be authoring standards documents and knowledge articles that other people and agents must be able to follow exactly.

  • A wargamer’s mindset: you care whether the simulation is right, not just whether it runs.

  • Comfortable serving as the escalation point for contested technical calls, and defending those calls directly to customers or subject matter experts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with game modding tools, editors, or simulation authoring environments (hobbyist or professional).

  • Experience partnering with engineering on test automation or QA tooling.

  • Familiarity with military doctrine, force structure, or platform performance data.

  • Experience with version control and bug-tracking systems.

  • Experience mentoring, training, or setting technical standards adopted by other analysts or contributors.

Note that this role will evolve as modern workflows continue to.

Notice to Third Party Recruitment Agencies

Please note that Onebrief does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or employment agencies. In the absence of an executed Recruitment Services Agreement, there will be no obligation to any referral compensation or recruiter fee. In the event a recruiter or agency submits a resume or candidate without an agreement Onebrief explicitly reserves the right to pursue and hire those candidate(s) without any financial obligation to the recruiter or agency. Any unsolicited resumes, including those submitted to hiring managers, shall be deemed the property of Onebrief.

Project Management Associate Director, Technical Product & Program Manager at United States Department of Defense

Manages day-to-day sprint execution and workflow for an AI-enablement engineering program, translating business requirements into technical specifications for embedded engineer teams.

The Talent Acquisition team shapes who Alloy becomes. We sit close to leadership, we treat sourcing as a craft, and we care about precision over volume. This is not a fill-the-req function: what we build here determines how Engineering, Product, and GTM get built. Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite three days a week.

What you’ll do

The best hires rarely come from a job post. They come from someone who found them first. You’ll own outbound sourcing at Alloy, leading on Engineering searches while supporting Product and GTM, and you’ll own how AI-powered sourcing gets done here.

  • Own sourcing strategy for Engineering roles and support Product and GTM searches, building talent maps of the strongest candidates in our key hiring areas.
  • Write outreach that people with options actually answer: specific, credible, personalized, and worth their time.
  • Run parallel pipelines across competing roles, independently and in close partnership with TA partners.
  • Source beyond LinkedIn: technical communities, open source contributions, research papers, referral networks, and events.
  • Turn market research into intelligence the team acts on, from competitive landscapes to emerging talent pools to what candidates are asking about.
  • Track outreach conversion and pipeline metrics, report pipeline health clearly to recruiters and leadership, and iterate on what the data tells you.
  • Own our AI-augmented sourcing workflow, putting tools like Noon.ai and Gem to work, using automation to extend your reach rather than replace your judgment, and codifying playbooks and talent maps the team adopts.

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

  • 6+ years of sourcing or research-focused recruiting experience, ideally at a high-growth tech company or fintech.
  • Proven track record sourcing technical talent (Data Science, Software Engineering, Security, Product, G&A, and GTM) with a strong emphasis on passive candidate engagement.
  • Real AI fluency: you’ve put agentic sourcing tools to work in live searches, and you know where AI extends your reach and where your judgment wins.
  • Expert-level command of LinkedIn Recruiter, including advanced Boolean, InMail strategy, and pipeline tracking.
  • Hands-on experience with Gem and a clear understanding of how sourcing integrates with an ATS like Greenhouse or Ashby.
  • You track your numbers and iterate on them, and your outreach to technical audiences reads like it came from a person, not a sequence.
  • Experience running market research to inform sourcing strategy and talent mapping.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience sourcing GTM roles (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success).
  • Background building sourcing programs or channel strategies from scratch.
  • You’ve configured agentic AI sourcing workflows that actually run, beyond off-the-shelf defaults.
  • Experience nurturing talent through programs like meetups and grassroots networking.

Job Title: Senior IT Business Analyst / Systems Analyst Location: Remote & Oklahoma City, OK (Occasional on-site meetings as needed) Schedule: Standard hours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT (Flexible schedule available with PM approval)

Overview

The Teachers’ Retirement System of Oklahoma (TRS) is undertaking a comprehensive, multi-year modernization initiative to replace legacy platforms—including full retirement of the legacy ALICE platform—and transition to a unified, cloud-native environment.

WiredPeople is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst / Systems Analyst to play a vital role in building MyPAS 3.0, a modern Azure-hosted pension administration system that integrates with the MyTRS member portal and MyERS employer portal. TRS serves over 210,000 active members and retirees across more than 600 school districts, higher education institutions, and career tech centers.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams. You will drive process discovery, map complex workflows, translate operational needs into detailed Azure DevOps user stories, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure smooth delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Analysis & Workflow Mapping

  • Engage with TRS business units to analyze current operational workflows, identify pain points, and define future-state operational models.

  • Interface with developers, architects, and IT staff to translate technical dependencies into functional requirements.

  • Document current and future state processes using structured techniques, including swimlane diagrams, process maps, and workflow diagrams.

2. Requirements Gathering & Backlog Management

  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, testable functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and Azure DevOps work items.

  • Partner with Product Owners and technical teams to refine, prioritize, and validate backlog items.

  • Ensure all documented requirements meet quality standards and align with organizational priorities.

3. Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, scripts, and step-by-step instructions for functional and user acceptance testing.

  • Execute functional testing in Development and Test environments to validate feature readiness prior to release.

  • Log and track software defects, coordinate resolution efforts with developers, and re-test fixes.

  • Lead and support business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Management

  • Act as the primary liaison between business units and technical development teams to maintain shared alignment.

  • Provide proactive project updates, communicate risks, and address requirement ambiguities early.

  • Contribute to change management efforts by developing user manuals, documentation, and training guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Business Analysis & Documentation: Proven experience in IT business analysis, process modeling, and system workflow documentation.

  • Agile & DevOps Workflows: Hands-on experience drafting user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items in Azure DevOps or similar ALM tools.

  • Testing & QA: Demonstrated experience in functional test execution, bug tracking, test case creation, and UAT coordination.

  • Problem Solving & Facilitation: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to facilitate discovery sessions and resolve requirement bottlenecks.

  • Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon for business users and vice versa.

Location, Schedule & Travel Details

  • Work Location: Remote / Oklahoma City, OK.

  • Schedule: Core hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT, with flexibility upon approval from the TRS Project Manager.

  • On-Site Attendance: Occasional in-person attendance in Oklahoma City may be required for key project milestones or workshops.

WiredPeople provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics. In addition to federal law requirements, WiredPeople complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location in which the company has facilities.
